As our clients have grown, so have we
While HAVI Global Solutions has evolved both in breadth of function and in geographic scope, our core principle has never changed: pursuing success by finding new sources of profitability for our clients. Throughout our long history, this approach has made us the innovator in the packaging and supply chain industry — which, in turn, has earned us deep and lasting partnerships with a roster of distinguished clients worldwide.
Our company was born in 1975 as Perseco, a small business that bought packaging for two McDonald's distribution centers. From this modest beginning, we increased our packaging services presence in the North American, Asian and European markets throughout the 1980s. The next decade brought a growing presence in Latin America, and we now serve clients in more than 22 nations. In 1990, our largest client chose us to provide project management services for their U.S. promotions, a starting point for the full range of project management services we now offer in many regions of the world. We also expanded in the 1990s into supply and demand planning, and we now provide a full range of supply chain integration and analytics services.
Over time, HAVI Global Solutions has added new clients. We initiated a business relationship with Coca-Cola in 1994, procuring trademark cups in Europe. We continued to grow with new customers and, by the turn of the millennium, we were providing packaging services to such nationally recognized U.S. customers as Coca-Cola, Chipotle, Boston Market and Donatos. Over the next few years we added Pret A Manger as a European client, and further solidified our global operations base through an affiliation with FEMSA, the largest integrated beverage company in Latin America.
In January 2006, our company officially adopted the name of HAVI Global Solutions and formalized three business units:
- Strategic sourcing and packaging services through Perseco
- Project management and execution with IPL
- Supply chain analytics and integration from ISIS
Together, our business units develop, source, market, and set up strategic supply chain and packaging services solutions designed to help our clients grow their businesses. By bringing together world-class people, processes and technology, HAVI Global Solutions has developed and sustained a system that benefits all our stakeholders — clients, employees and supplier partners alike.
