Social Responsibility

Social Responsibility is an integral part of the HAVI Global Solutions’ supplier management process and policies, core values, professional competencies, mission statement, and operating plans around the world. HAVI Global Solutions is committed to executing policies and action plans to advance our suppliers’ compliance to laws governing workplace safety, and employment practices that affect labor, ethics, diversity and by extension, the individual, the organization and the community.

HAVI Global Solutions is committed to attaining standards of Responsible Sourcing with all suppliers in our supply chain. Our policy is to engage with suppliers to support them in meeting our Responsible Sourcing standards:

  • providing safe and healthy working conditions
  • responsibly managing environmental and social issues, and
  • treating every employee with respect.

We believe that responsible sourcing practices lead to better business for our customers as well as positively impact society. To that end, we require our suppliers to agree to a Business Code of Conduct and promote a Social Accountability compliance agenda during supplier councils and other strategic meetings. Additionally, we provide third party audits of safety and sanitation in the workplace and monitor supplier compliance through our performance improvement process for corrective action.
