Situation

A global client of HAVI Global Solutions identified savings targets across its entire supplier base. One of the targeted commodities was food packaging, for which we were commissioned to conduct a global strategic sourcing review. On close study, we found this seemingly minor item presented the chance to deliver a real gain in efficiency.
