These awards honor excellence in foodservice packaging in six categories, including Children’s Meal, Product Manufacturing Innovation, Graphic Design Distinction, Consumer Convenience, the Wow! Factor and Brand Delivery. One package, chosen from the first place winners of each of the six categories, is awarded Foodservice Package of the Year.

1st Place - Product Manufacturing InnovationIn-Mold Label PWEPS Coffee CupThe award went to the PWEPS (Paper Wrapper Extruded Polystyrene) cup, an innovative hybrid design of polystyrene foam and paper. HAVI Global Solutions designed a cup that has excellent heat retention qualities and allows brilliant graphics in order to present a premium brand image to the market. |

This package’s visually stunning graphics showcase the freshness of the salad greens and vegetables promoting a just-made quality and appearance. |

3rd Place - Graphic Design DistinctionInside Printed SBS ClamshellThird place in the Graphic Design Distinction category went to “Inside Printed SBS Clamshell.” In order to promote an enhanced quality message, HAVI Global Solutions developed the capability for use of inside print on these sandwich clamshells. The inside print also allows the restaurant crew to clearly identify the sandwich being built which improves order accuracy. |

3rd Place - Consumer ConvenienceMcDonald’s Fruit ’n Yogurt ParfaitThird place in the Consumer Convenience category went to the McDonald’s Fruit ’n Yogurt Parfait package. HAVI Global Solutions designed this package to improve restaurant order accuracy and minimize waste.The cup size was optimized to ensure the proper fill and a tab to the lid was designed to hold both the granola and the spoon to improve restaurant order accuracy and customer satisfaction. |
