HAVI GLOBAL SOLUTIONS - In the Marketplace

This Spring Rolls Package design, created by HAVI Global Solutions for a new food promotion, delivers operational efficiencies in the restaurant, supports the client’s sustainability goals and complements the new food item. Instead of a typical cup style base, a crash lock was developed, resulting in a package that is easily shipped and stored flat in the restaurant, thereby saving storage space. The package’s fluted material reduces its overall weight and contains a high percentage of recycled content.

This Sandwich Wrap Container was awarded the AmeriStar award in 2010 for its marriage of product and packaging through thoughtful design. Key design elements help deliver logistics and operational efficiencies while promoting the product image and meeting key consumer needs. A creatively integrated tear strip at the center of the package provides the consumer with an easy on-the-go consumption experience by being able to consume the product directly from the package. This package can be shipped and stored flat, increasing efficiencies in case pack and storage. This material is from renewable resources and contains a minimum of 72% post industrial recycled content, reducing the use of virgin raw materials.

The Convertible Clamshell, created by HAVI Global Solutions, was awarded "Best of Show" and the Food Institutional award at the 2011 AmeriStar Package Awards competition. This creative sandwich packaging offers a variety of functions to both restaurant and consumer. Not only does this package provide significant operational improvements, but it is distinctively unique. Along with eased visibility and consumption of the product, consumers can now keep their food protected and insulated. Made from a custom, a down-gauged resin sheet thickness, this exceptional packaging is recyclable and reusable.
