The Edison Award

The Edison Awards recognize the persistence and excellence Thomas Edison personified; qualities which have allowed America to remain in the forefront of innovation, creativity, and ingenuity in the global economy. These awards honor excellence in a variety of categories; including marketplace success and innovation, societal impact, technological innovation, and market structure innovation.

In the Industrial Design category, the Convertible Clamshell was awarded "Gold Best New Product." The patent pending Convertible Clamshell design enhances performance and service accuracy while providing an exceptional experience for the customer. HAVI Global Solutions was acknowledged for challenging conventional thinking and innovation by designing the unique and environmentally friendly plate-like design. Because of the collaborative efforts between HAVI Global Solutions and Pactiv Corporation, this award-winning package was created.
